G'Day Mates!!
Finally it has stopped raining. I haven't posted very much in the last few days because I haven't been able to do anything lately. It started raining on Saturday and today- Thursday- was the first sunny day in what seems like forever. I was starting to get really depressed about the weather- I am really missing the hot Summer. But today made up for it. It was 19 and in the sun much warmer. Finally. Today I went out and walked around Newtown going into the stores. I found a really nice dress that I want badly. Everytime I walk the streets in this area it makes me laugh. The people here dress really differently. It reminds me as if I was in 1985 again. I seriuosly think that I have been transported back to the 1980's. Anything neon goes. Its hilarious. I look really out of place in my UGGS and Abercrombie sweater.
I made some calls and booked some of the places we will be staying during our trip. I am so excited!! We are going in less than a month now! I can't wait to be laying on some of the nicest beaches in the world. And for warm weather...
I'm not really sure what we are going to do all weekend, but either way the weather is supposed to be nice and I am going out to do something. We talked about maybe going to see a football game which would be very exciting. The league here is called Aussie Rules Football and is a cross between Rugby and what we know as football. We will see if we can get some tickets.
Tonight we are going out to have a few beers at a local bar with some of the guys Ryan goes to school with. Today is their last day of class so we are celebrating Australian style- lots of beer and pokies. Maybe I will win big on the pokies so I can go by that dress I liked today...
Anyways- I should have some pictures to post this weekend. I hope you are all enjoying the nice HOT weather. I am very jealous.

TV Update # 2
Let me start off by saying I MISS TV. Not even my shows (because I have downloaded most of them) but just turning on a tv to watch anything. I have watched pretty much every season finale and here is what I thought. (**there will be spoilers so dont read this if you havent seen some**)
The Sopranos- I am still trying to get the finale. I hope it is a good one. If not I don't know if I will watch the last 8 episodes. I accidently read something that might be a spoiler- if it actually happens it will be good.
Greys Anatomy- Loved it. The last 3 episodes were awesome. I knew Denny was going to die and I'm glad he did. He was a great character and I loved the scenes with him and Izzy. She just killed me at the end. Great acting and great writing on this show. I don't know who I want Meredith to go to. I like McVet, but McDreamy is just so good with her. I can't wait for this show to be back.
Big Love- I haven't seen any since I've been gone and I heard its so good. Its hard to find these episodes. I don't think anybody watches this show (besides my parents) but you should because its awesome.
24- We had our marathon of watching the whole seaon and it was intense. The ending was awesome. Jack is in some serious trouble with the Chinese. I have no idea how he is going to get out of this one. It will be interesting if they do next season away from the US. I have also heard there is a movie in the works that may connect the next 2 seasons. That would be unreal.
Canada's Next Top Model- I have watched the first episode. Its okay. I can get into it. Its a budget version of ANTM but I have nothing else to watch. And I really don't miss Tyra. She is so annoying sometimes. Im not so impressed by the girls they have picked. They really dont represent Canadian girls. We are much hotter than that. Maybe they just need some makeovers. We will see what happens.
The Hills- My guilty secret. I am a Laguna Beach fan. Lauren was always my favorite- I am so not on Team Kristen like everyone else. I am already addicted to this show and Ive only seen one episode. I love this MTV crap.
Entourage- One of the best shows on TV. Not many people watch this show either. But it is awesome. We are rewatching season 1&2 and getting ready for 3 that premieres next week. Hilarious. I love Ari and his comments. I can't wait for new episodes.
Smallville- Since I've been here Ryan and I have watched season 2 & 3 and have just started 4. I am in love with this show. Clark Kent is hot. I am so OVER Lana now. She should just go away. I never thought I would like Lois Lane, but I do. She is awesome and she is def. falling for Clark. And surprisingly I like Chole much more in season 4.
Desperate Housewives- I really like the season finale and will give this show another chance next year. I love Gabrielle. I think she is hilarious. I loved the scene where she caught Carlos cheating.
LOST- best show ever. I don't even know where to begin. This was a crazy season. I know nobody else watches this show, except Jenn so this is for her. The season finale was insane. We watched episode 14-24 all in one day so it was very intense. I think that they should have never trusted Michael and went on that crazy mission. I think that they will be okay- but how much of an idiot was Michael. He can just drive away and thats it?? I have heard he's not even on it next season except maybe as a guest star. Thats bullshit. He is dead to me. I KNEW Henry Gale was the leader. He is awesome. I had nightmares about him that night. And what was with the 4 toed statue? I hope that Eko and Locke are okay- as well as Desmond. I really liked the story about him. I definaely think that Libby is an other and gave him that boat no he would get trapped on tha island. I think that Pen knows that the island exists and her dad has something to do with Desmond being there. They set up next season good. I am so obsessed with this show. Next season we should know more about those crazy others.
Well thats about it. Now that I think about it I'm kinda glad I dont have TV. I might be a little obsessed with it....lol... I have actually been reading alot which is better than watching tv.
I read Angels and Demons a few days ago and loved it! It is the first book that Robert Langdon (the same character in Davinci Code) is in. I think I liked it better than the Davicini Code. More action and an interesting story line.
