Happy Canada Day

Hey Everybody!!

I want to wish everybody a Happy Canada Day!! Here is my list about the top 10 things I miss most about Canada. I obviously miss my friends and family MOST, but these are some other things that make Canada special.

In No specific order-

1. Tim Hortons

2. The Keg - specifically the Keg Caesar Salad

3. Tivo/Digital Cable

4. Chicken Wings

5. Bounce Sheets

6. Wendy's

7. The Kia

8. Rootbeer

9. Belmont Milds

10. High Speed Internet

That's what I have come up with. I am too hungover from Friday night to think properly to write a regular post. We went to Darling Harbour with Ryan's class and I had way too much to drink. I have some funny pictures that I don't remember taking that I will post tomorrow.

Hope everybody had a drunken Canada Day.

Cheers!

Brandy!!

1 More Week!!

Greetings!!

Mid Week here in Australia. Ryan is finally done his exams!!! He better be ready to get out and do somethings because I am ready to do some sight seeing!. There is so much I still want to do in Sydney. I think for the next few days though we are going to be doing some post-exam partying. Tonight we are going to be hitting the local Newtown pubs and Friday we are headed out downtown to a Lounge with all the people from his class.

Our trip is now only 1 Week Away!!! I am getting so excited. I have a few things to do to get ready for the vacay. I am looking for a disposable camera for underwater picture taking. They are really expensive. I think I might have to make a trip to Kmart for some cheap buys. I also need a heavy duty bug spray for the rainforest so I can stay safe from all of the poisonous stuff out there. I am starting to be VERY afraid to stay out there for 2 nights. I really don't like bugs and animals that much and I'm thinking now it might have been a bad idea. We could have done a day trip, but No I had to stay right in the rainforest. Matt and his friends (who are staying here now) are leaving on Sunday so Ryan and I have the house to ourselves for a few days before we leave. It should be nice because it feels a little crowded here right now.

Canada Day is in a few days and I'm sad not to be home to celebrate. It's the first time Ive ever been out of the country for it and we are still going to go out in our Canada gear and represent. I am compiling a little list of what I miss about Canada to post this weekend.

Short post for today, but I should be posting again tomorrow with some pics from tonight. It should be a good one because everybody is finally done school!

Cheers!

Great Barrier Reef

This is a really cool picture taken from space by a NASA Satellite. When you look at Earth from space it is one of the only recognizable things.

I've been doing some research on the Great Barrier Reef and I thought I would post some of it. I am so excited to go there!

Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is the most extensive reef system in the world; it contains the world's largest collection of coral reefs (3000 different spots) with 400 types of coral , 1,500 species of fish and 4,000 types of mollusks. At 2000 km long and is even visible from space. It is also one of the seven wonders of the natural world.
