Hello, Hello, Hello.
I spoke to soon. The rain hasn't stopped and I don't think it ever will. The forecast was supposed to be sunny and 19. However, it turned out to be 12 and rainy.
So after scoring great tickets (a season ticket holder in Ryan's class) we left the house in a down pour. We made it to the train station minutes too late and had to wait 30 minutes for another train. From Central station we had to take a bus to the stadium. For that bus we waited another 15 minutes in the rain. (I forgot my coat- because it wasn't supposed to rain). When we finally got to the stadium we started our longest wait yet. The girl who was supposed to meet us there to give us tickets was running late. An HOUR later, and already 1/4 into the game she showed up and got us in. Because we were SO late and it was raining, all of the covered seats were taken. If it was a clear day we would have had great seats. (It is not assigned seating in Club Seating) The other guys we were with decided to brave the rain (and cold) and sit on the wet seats in a downpour. After walking around Ryan and I found a sweet spot on some stairs in the covered area. After a few minutes this giant woman came and stood in front of me. Ryan could see because he was a few stairs ahead of me. Like I said before, rude people. We were so aggrevated about the whole day (well mainly I was) that we left with about 15 minutes left in the last quarter. We took the bus back to Central Station and got inside to find that our train was leaving in 1 minute. We ran as fast as we can- only to get to the top of the stairs to hear the ding dong of the doors shutting. We stood there as it pulled away slowly. 30 minutes until another one. We were so pissed we decided that we deserved the $12.00 cab ride home. Finally the day got better as we watched some Smallville, ate some chocolate and had a nice hot tea.
I hope that one of these days when we try to go out and do something it will work out for us. This rain has to go. The paper says Tues, Wed, Thurs. will be nice and sunny- but it has lied before. Should be a pretty boring week for me. Ryan is studying for his exams next week. I think on Monday I am going to go see a matinee of the Break Up. Its supposed to rain and I need to get out and do something this week. Also Ryan will NEVER go see a movie like that in the theatres, so I might as well go while he's busy. I'd also like to go to a book store while at the mall. I am totally out of things to read and need to find something to keep me busy while they study. I can only read www.perezhilton.com so many times a day before even I'm sick of it.
I hope everybody is doing great ( I bet its not raining there ) and I will be posting in a few days!
Miss you all!
Cheers,
Brandy
