The Daintree River Crocodile Tour

Day 2 Daintree-

On our second day we woke up early to go on the Rainforest Walk. It was going to take too long so we decided to wait until the afternoon when we would have more time. We had a Crocodile River Tour at Noon so we relaxed on our cabin porch until the bus came to pick us up. The bus dropped us off on the side of the road by the river and we walked with the rest of the group down through a swampy path. I was afraid that the crocs would jump out at us any second. We made it to the boat okay and ended up seeing 4 different female crocodiles. Most of them were sunning themselves on the river bank but we did see one in the water feeding. The ones we did see were about 3m long- the males can be up to 5m long. It was a really nice afternoon out on the river.
